Until a few years back, the concept of virtual and serviced offices was unknown in Kenya.
Mr. Andrewes, a UK citizen who came to Kenya in 1994, was among the first entrepreneurs to introduce the concept in the market. Andrewes started Eden Square Business Centre (ESBC), a firm that provides serviced offices, meeting rooms, virtual office packages and administrative support. He sat down with How we made it in Africa‘s Regina Ekiru to discuss the business.

The virtual office product is very ideal for the road warrior who would rather spend a huge chunk of their resources looking for the business out there, while at the same time maintaining a professional and reliable correspondence base. This product is applicable for both start-ups and established businesses. This places ESBC at the apex of the competition in this sector. A brilliant idea that has been well executed!
This is a very good innovation from ESBC. It is very crucial in such a growing economy that we are continuously working towards efficient systems that will give us a competitive advantage as a country/region to compete on similar levels with other developing countries in the very near future.
